FRESH PEACH JAM
In the words of 88Rising, " So tasty on my tongue, peach jam (uh, yeah) ". Bulk buying, particularly when faced with massive bargains, seems to be the favourite pastime of many a parent out there. I swear this Asian family of mine has mild hoarding/stockpiling tendencies when it comes to food - most of which is hereditary. From laundry detergent, to boxes of cereal etc., this bulk-buying behaviour also definitely extends to fruit. The fruit wholesale market has got to be one of my parents' favourite places to visit, where they usually come home with cartons upon cartons of their spoils. This does mean thought, that there tends to be more fruit than our household can actually consume before it starts going bad (fruit does not keep well in the tropical humidity of Singapore).
